Other park areas include: Brook Peterson (hockey rink, fields with and without lights), Waconia Knights of Columbus Park (Softball fields, large picnic pavilion with kitchen available for rent), and Lake Waconia Regional Park Lake Waconia Regional Park (100 acre park situated on the southern shore of Lake Waconia, includes reservable group picnic shelter, play equipment, restrooms, small swimming beach, picnic tables, volleyball court and grills).
The City also built and maintains over 31 miles of sidewalks and trails that are designed to ensure that citizens are able to walk and bicycle throughout the community. During winter, city staff clear the trails of ice and snow so that citizens can enjoy the trail system year-round.
