Green Space and Recreational Activities are at a Premium in Carver

With its rolling hills and location next to the Minnesota River, Carver is well-situated for those desiring easy access to parks, trails and nature. Carver has a network of trails that are running, walking and biking accessible - some of those trails are listed below:
  • 6th Street Trail Loop – 3.1 Miles
  • 6th Street Trail – .83 Miles
  • Community Park Outer Fields Trail – .88 Miles
  • Kenneth Frye Levee Trail – .45 Miles
  • Mt. Hope Trail – .78 Miles
  • Parkway Trail South – .39 Miles
In addition, a recently completed gravel trail links Carver and Chaska along the old Union Pacific Railroad. Carver also offers residents and visitors Bluff Park (softball field, soccer fields, and park shelter) and Community Park (playgrounds, rock boulder play area, volleyball courts, softball fields, baseball field, ice rink & warming house, skate park, and park shelter).
